Co-production Special Interest Group
Following feedback and to support co-production in improvement beyond our programmes, the co-production Special Interest Group was formed in 2025.
The group provides an opportunity to ask questions, gain peer support to overcome challenges and learn more about co-production, as co-production is a mindset and culture, not a task and finish activity.
What the group offers
The Co-production Special Interest Group is a space for staff, patients, carers and community members to come together and explore how services can be designed and improved in partnership. The group provides:
Regular discussions - opportunities to share experiences and ideas about co-production in practice.
Learning and resources - tools, case studies and guidance to support meaningful involvement.
Guest speakers - insights from people with lived experience and professionals who have successfully embedded co-production.
Collaboration - a safe, supportive environment to test new ideas and approaches together.
The group meets up online every 3 months to learn and support each other in working alongside patients, people and communities to improve services.
