Improvement Leaders

The Improvement Leaders programme equips participants with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to lead quality improvement activity. Graduates become part of our Improvement Leaders network, inspiring and supporting others to improve services.

Course

What the course provides:

  • Three initial in-person training days over approximately six months

  • Content is tailored to the requirements of the cohort and will cover: tools for leadership, including building effective teams, coaching, mentoring and supporting others

  • Exploring effective ways of working in partnership with service users and community-based colleagues

  • Opportunity to out into practice coaching and leadership skills for continuous improvement

  • Membership into the Improvement Leaders Network

Outcomes of the course:

  • Develop leadership and mentoring skills to support others

  • Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement in your service

  • Build confidence to lead improvement work

  • Membership to the Improvement Leaders network for ongoing collaboration and learning
