Course
What the course provides:
Three initial in-person training days over approximately six months
Content is tailored to the requirements of the cohort and will cover: tools for leadership, including building effective teams, coaching, mentoring and supporting others
Exploring effective ways of working in partnership with service users and community-based colleagues
Opportunity to out into practice coaching and leadership skills for continuous improvement
Membership into the Improvement Leaders Network
Outcomes of the course:
Develop leadership and mentoring skills to support others
Promote and embed a culture of continuous improvement in your service
Build confidence to lead improvement work
Membership to the Improvement Leaders network for ongoing collaboration and learning
Who would find this course useful?
Staff and members of the public who are passionate about improvement and want to champion Quality Improvement as ambassadors and leaders.

Applications to join Improvement Leaders will open in Summer 2026, and the initial training days for new members are:
