What the course provides:
This one day course offers a supportive learning environment where you'll gain confidence using key tools to better understand and manage demand and capacity data. You'll have the opportunity to:
Use Statistical Process Control (SPC) charts to analyse demand and capacity
Calculate percentiles to support more effective service planning
Determine average waits and compare backlogs with sustainable waiting list sizes
Create and interpret Pareto Charts to prioritise improvement efforts
Outcomes of the workshop:
Gain the knowledge and confidence to regularly use these tools to inform decision-making and support the effective delivery of your service.

This course is designed for operations staff, business support teams, service managers, and team leaders who have previously attended either our one-day Demand and Capacity Fundamentals workshop or our four-day Demand and Capacity into Action programme.
