Title

Unravelling Psychosis: Investigating Immune System Links

Summary

There is evidence that some cases of psychosis may be caused by issues with the immune system. Normally, the immune system helps us fight infection, but when it malfunctions, it can lead to 'autoimmune' diseases. These diseases can be diagnosed through blood tests.

This study aims to determine how many people with psychosis have immune system-related issues by testing blood samples for specific antibodies.

If an immune system problem is detected, you may be eligible to participate in a study called SINAPPS2.
