Title

Unravelling Depression and Anxiety: The GLAD Study

Summary

Depression and anxiety represent widespread mental health challenges globally, affecting 1 in 3 individuals in the UK during their lifetime. The GLAD Study seeks to enhance comprehension of these disorders, enabling the discovery of effective treatments and enhancing the quality of life for affected individuals.
The establishment of the NIHR Mental Health BioResource will facilitate the exploration of genetic risk factors in individuals diagnosed with depression and/or anxiety or those who have received treatment for these conditions.
