EXPAND
Summary
EXPAND is a qualitative study seeking to explore perceptions of neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) in Indian, Pakistani and Black African communities, alongside experiences in seeking support from services for NDDs. The secondary aim is to work with healthcare and education professionals to see where their can identify service barriers and facilitators in accessing support for these communities.
Interested?
For parents:
- Parent/carer of a child who has suspected/diagnosed NDD.
- Self-identifies as Pakistani/Indian/Black African.
For young people:
- Aged 6 – 18.
- Has a parent/carer participating in the study.
- Self-identifies as Pakistani/Indian/Black African.
For staff:
- Is a healthcare or education professional.
- Has experience working with ethnic minorities in relation to mental health.
