Our Early Career Improvement Special Interest Group is a team based programme aimed at Hampshire & Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust staff to providing participants with a support network for ongoing development in improvement and learning.

About the Course
The programme is designed to support all staff, within the first few years of their career, who are passionate about improving and making services better for our patients and staff alike.
What it provides:

A peer network to support with personal/career development, empowering ongoing improvement and learning.

The network will grow annually, recruitment happens on an annual basis, each cohort will receive their own development days, prior to joining existing members.
What it involves:

Meeting like minded colleagues with a passion for improving services.

Specialised support and training to aide you to feel confident in initiating, influencing and implementing change within your area of work.

Being provided feedback, advice, and guidance from experienced professionals, as well as support, encouragement, and motivation from people who are invested in your success/career, and developing your leadership skills.
What it includes:

4 development days annually.

Mentorship/coaching from our QI leaders’ network and the Academy of Research & Improvement.

Shared learning and peer support from colleagues

Advice and support from our Side-by-Side Network

The opportunity to explore the areas of improvement you are curious about and begin to put them in practice.

Options to explore a range of improvement tools, such as research, evaluation and audit etc.
